General Information:
When in doubt, call Judge.
Achievements are State Based Actions that cannot be missed or responded to. Whenever a player gains priority, the game will “check” to see if an Achievement has been earned. When a player becomes aware of an Achievement that should have been earned at any time, verify it and track it accordingly.
The ⟳ symbol denotes achievements which can be repeated. Some specify the limitations and circumstances under which they can be repeated, either in their footnotes or directly below their point values.
Players no longer in the game cannot earn achievements for parts of the game they were not playing in, except for “Any% Glitchless”.
Per Achievement Footnotes:
There’s No Crying in Baseball: Conceding during heads-up play (1 on 1) will give the remaining player all the points that they can prove they could earn. Conceding at any time rewards the player deemed to be causing the concession a “KO!” point.
Oops!: You earn this achievement for each time a unique loop is actually performed. Lands being used to add mana are not counted as part of the infinite loop, unless a land could add 2 or more mana.
Walk of Shame: If a player was eliminated before the game went to turns, that player does not earn this achievement. If the game ends on turn 0, nobody earns this achievement.
Pump the Breaks: If you manage to win before turn 5, you will get -2 points for each remaining player.
Salt the Earth: A “utility” ability is an activated or triggered ability that does not create mana, is not an “when [this permanent] enters the battlefield” ability, or potentially creates more than two mana.
Solitaire: If a player is forced to take an extra turn through a source controlled by an opponent (such as the gifted turn from Perch Protection), that turn does not count against them.
Get On With It!: Spells or abilities that cause one or more players to search for a single land on resolution are exempt from this rule.
KO!: The player who most directly and recently caused the “lose state” of the eliminated player earns this point.
Survivor: If multiple players are eliminated simultaneously, only one point is earned by the remaining players. However, any player(s) conceding the game will be tracked separately.
Borca’s Last Laugh: This must be done by an effect, spell, activated ability, or triggered ability. Politicking is not enough to earn this achievement.
Any% Glitchless: All players who were in the game at any point receive this achievement if the conditions are met.
Full House and Fuller House: Basic lands do not count. The applicable card types are artifact, battle, creature, enchantment, kindred (formerly tribal), land, and planeswalker.
Naked and Afraid: A permanent is modified if it has one or more counters on it, if it is equipped, or if it is enchanted by an Aura that is controlled by that permanent’s controller. The commander must remain unmodified as it was dealing all 21 points of combat damage. It is allowed to be equipped, enchanted, or have counters in between. If a commander deals any combat damage while modified, this achievement is locked for that commander.
Highlander: If you win while other players remain in the game, you get a “KO!” point for each player eliminated.
That’s Rough, Buddy: Conceding does not count as being eliminated. If opponents are eliminated simultaneously, the next eliminated player in turn order will get this achievement.
Trick Shot: Can only be earned once, regardless of which way you earn it.
